Comic Book Tesseract - 2012.03.21

This week is inundated with number ones! Rocketeer Adventures, Voodoo Child, Smoke and Mirrors, and Hoax Hunters (which is actually #0 - but it’s still a first). Justin and Jason have some differences on Justice League and Green Lantern Corps. Avengers: X-Sanction finishes its run with the plot pointing directly to the upcoming AvX. And Star Wars, Dawn of the Jedi: Force Storm continues with its ridiculously long name. All that and news, this week on the Tesseract.

Comic Book Tesseract - 2012.03.14

This week’s show is a little longer than normal, clocking in at nearly an hour and a half - but it's because there is just that much awesome to talk about!  Saga and Avengers Assemble both premiere this week.  Suicide Squad, Incredible Hulk and Unwritten all finish their current story arcs.  And finally, both Justin and Jason agree that Green Lantern is good again.  All this, plus comic and video game news of the week, on the Tesseract.

Comic Book Tesseract - 2012.03.07

The Age of Apocalypse is upon us! (What, again?) Valen continues to be enjoyable. Detective Comics finishes its second mini-arc. Ultimate Spider-man confronts family issues. And Irredeemable is regaining its feet after some rough story arcs.

Also, are Archie Comics progressive or merely catching up to the status quo? And, should publishers respect the wishes of artists regarding their work-for-hire properties when it comes to new printings?

Comic Book Tesseract - 2012.02.29

This week brings us the last issue of Joe Hill’s The Cape and the end of the first Justice League story arc. Voltron finally starts making sense. Jason forces Justin to read the new Batman Beyond Unlimited and Amazing Spider-man #680 (neither of which took much convincing). Also, can comics teach economics? Valiant comics is back, but Bill Murry isn’t. And the Ghastly Awards are rewarding.
